My Interests
When I am not grading coursework or debugging web applications, I like to keep things varied. Here is what keeps me busy:
Tech and Tinkering: I am a massive technology enthusiast, whether that involves configuring local smart home ecosystems with Home Assistant and Raspberry Pi, or building custom automation scripts.
Reading: I am an avid reader of science fiction, frequently getting lost in the works of Michael Marshall Smith and cyberpunk classics like Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash.
Food: I enjoy exploring the culinary scene and finding great local restaurants, a passion that directly fuels my current work building the City52 directory for Southend.
Comedy and Film: I love a good laugh and a compelling cinematic narrative, making stand up comedy and films my preferred ways to unwind.
